First, my name is not phonetic at all. So I want to start this blog by giving the best pronunciation explanation I can. Tazche is pronounced like the fancy way people say Target, yes the store, with out the hard “r” sound. Essentially it is “Tahj-ay” but all my friends call me Taz much to my mom’s dismay. So you all can call me Taz too.
The Basics
I am a suburban girl from the Northern Virginia (nova for fun) area. With some regret around exam times, I am a chemistry major on the pre-pharmacy track. I have younger brother named Demitri, nicknamed Bubby. He looks about 5 years older than me though and I am constantly mistaken for the younger sibling. Annoying as it is now, I know I will be thankful for my younger looking features (big eyes and bushy curly hair) in the future. I like to say I live the “Best of Both Worlds” as I am half black half white. It is a fun dynamic that provides me an experience of life like no other.
The Fun
I am an extroverted introvert. I have just as much fun watching Netflix in my bed by myself as I do going out to new restaurants with my friends. My favorite TV shows to watch when I am not studying for classes or the PCAT are All American, The Bachelor/Bachelorette, and How to Get Away With Murder. I love to listen to country music and my favorite artists are Luke Combs and Thomas Rhett. At Carolina, I am an Admissions Ambassador and a Football Ambassador. I give tours to prospective students and football recruits. Giving tours has given me the chance to meet so many interesting individuals. Sadly, I have a caffeine addiction and constantly spend way too much money on coffee! But Hey, it makes me happy.
That’s all for now! Welcome to My Blog!
